NEW DELHI: An 18-year-old boy was kidnapped, strangled and shot by his three friends including a juvenile, police said Tuesday.
Police said they have arrested two men and apprehended a juvenile.
Shiva Kalra, a class 12 student, was kidnapped and taken to Haryana's Murthal where the assailants first strangled him and pumped three bullets in his chest before setting his body in fire Oct 11, police said.
His family had lodged a missing complaint at Rohini North police station on the same day when he did not return home.
Haryana Police Tuesday evening contacted Delhi Police informing them about a half charred body found in Murthal. The body was identified as of Kalra's by his parents.
Police suspect a love angle behind the murder. The accused are being questioned.
