Chief Ministers of Assam, Nagaland Meet Prime Minister Modi

Chief Ministers of Assam and Nagaland Tarun Gogoi and T R Zeliang respectively today met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and discussed with him issues concerning their states.

NEW DELHI: Chief Ministers of Assam and Nagaland Tarun Gogoi and T R Zeliang respectively today met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and discussed with him issues concerning their states.

In his separate meeting with the Prime Minister, the Assam Chief Minister briefed him about the prevailing security situation in the state and steps being taken to end the insurgency problem there.

The Nagaland Chief Minister apprised Modi of the prevailing situation in his state and steps being taken by the state government for the over all development.

Earlier, both Gogoi and Zeliang also met Home Minister Rajnath Singh and discussed with him the border dispute between the two states.
