Unidentified Gunmen Open Fire At Cricketer Wasim Akram

Former Pakistan cricket captain Wasim Akram remained unhurt unidentified gunmen on Wednesday opened fire on his car in Karachi. The incident took place near National Stadium where the two gunmen arrived in a motorcycle and first fired at his car and later opened fire at him when he walked out of the car.

Akram reported the incident to the police and later registered a formal complaint where they are investigating at the spot.

“I have noted down the vehicle’s number and given it to the police.” Akram told to Express Tribune.

Akram denied receiving any prior threats and said that he was on his way to National Stadium to conduct a training camp for fast bowlers.
