Government Official Trapped for Accepting Bribe in Telangana

HYDERABAD: A Divisional Marketing Officer of Andhra Pradesh State Handloom Weavers Co-Operative Society Limited – APCO was today trapped by Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Warangal district of Telangana while he was allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 70,000.   

M Prabhakar Reddy, was trapped by ACB officials in his Office in Warangal when he demanded and accepted a bribe of Rs 70,000 from a complainant for doing an official favour, an ACB release said here.            

Efforts were on to arrest the accused officer. The case is under investigation, it added.
