MoS Defence, Army Chief Take to Skies

Rao Inderjit Singh and Army Chief General Dalbir Singh Suhag on Monday visited the IAF’s  Hindon Airbase in Indian Capital Region.

NEW DELHI: In an attempt to familarise themselves with the country’s frontline fighter jet Sukhoi-30 Mki, Minister of State for Defence Rao Inderjit Singh and Army Chief General Dalbir Singh Suhag on Monday visited the IAF’s  Hindon Airbase  in the National Capital Region. According to Ministry of Defence(MoD) officials, the MoS and the Army Chief also went on a familiarlisation sortie in the Su-30 Mki.  The 65-year-old  Rao was airborne for about 20 minutes, during which the fighter aircraft  performed various manoeuvres. He was seated on rear seat of the frontline fighter jet.
