4 Security Personnel Injured in Grenade Attack

SRINAGAR: Four security forces personnel, including an officer of paramilitary CRPF, were injured today when suspected militants lobbed a grenade outside a police station in downtown area of the city here.  

The militants hurled the grenade at a naka party outside Khanyar police station of the city this evening, police said.   

They said the grenade exploded and caused injuries to a Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of CRPF and one ASI and two constables of Jammu and Kashmir Police. The injured have been taken to a hospital for first-aid, the police said.           

They said search has been launched to nab the attackers.
