Teenager Arrested for Sexually Molesting Two Girls

KOLKATA: One teenager was arrested for allegedly sexually molesting two minor girls in the Ultadanga area of the city today, the police said.     

Nineteen-year old Neelu Das of Gorachand Sarkar Lane was arrested by the Police for allegedly sexually molesting two minor girls aged around eight to nine years, they said.     

The accused had called the two girls inside his room in the slum area on the pretext of giving them chocolates and molested them sexually, the complaint lodged by the locals alleged, the police said adding, Das was later on arrested.          

In another incident, a cyclist was killed when a private car dashed into it at the wee hours of the day, the police said.   

Jitendra Singh (45) was hit by a speeding car on C R Avenue near the Central Metro Station and was declared "brought dead" when taken to the nearby Medical College and Hospital, they said adding the driver of the car was arrested.
