Explosives Found in Market in Ganderbal

SRINAGAR: A tragedy was averted by timely detection of explosives in a market in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.   

Police detected the explosive substance kept in a tin at a market in Safapora area of the district last night, a police spokesman said.   

He said the explosives were destroyed by bomb disposal squad in an open ground near police station Safapora.      

Ganderbal is about 20 kms from here.
