Annoyed CBSE Teacher Advises Smriti to Have Educated Staff in Her Ministry

The HRD Minister Smriti Irani’s appreciation letter to CBSE teachers, congratulating them for good exam results, became talk of the town not for any political reasons but for the spelling mistakes it contained.

After receiving the letter, a teacher from Chhattisgarh thanked the HRD minister with some advice. Richa Kumar, a teacher from Delhi Public School wrote, "Thank you for congratulating me on the excellence I exemplify. However, having been a teacher for the last twenty years, your official letter head is an affront to my sensibilities as a Language teacher. The attached photographs are self explanatory. Please ensure that at least the people who work for you, in your ministry, are well educated."

Later, the letter was posted by a Twitter user, trolling the Minister for the mistake in the letter head. Smriti Irani replied to the tweet saying that she wouldn’t misspell her own name and that she had asked for explanation from the concerned organization.
