4 Indians Arrested in Sri Lanka's East for Visa Violations

At least four Indians have been arrested in Sri Lanka's eastern province for allegedly abusing visa conditions, police said.

COLOMBO: At least four Indians have been arrested in Sri Lanka's eastern province for allegedly abusing visa conditions, police said.

The four were arrested at Kalmunai in the east as they were doing business having arrived on tourist visas.

They were in possession of herbal oils and other herbal products, police said.

The police said it had arrested Indians in the past in Kalmunai for violating visa regulations. Most of those arrested were selling clothes.
