Army Jawan Shot Dead Over Property Dispute

An Army jawan was shot dead by his uncle over property-related dispute in Bopada village, police said.

MUZAFFARNAGAR: A 27-year-old Army jawan was shot dead allegedly by his uncle over property-related dispute in Bopada village here, police said today.

Kuldeep was killed last night by his uncle Nepal Singh when he was going to his home, Station House Officer of Mansurpur police station, Charan Singh said.

The accused has been arrested, the SHO said, adding land dispute was stated to be the reason behind the murder.

The body has been sent for postmortem, he said.

Kuldeep was posted in Rajasthan and came on leave few days ago only.
