Centre Working with Mindset of Revenge: JD (U)

Following the suspension of Kirti, JD (U) said, Centre is working with a mindset of revenge against AAP Govt as it lost the Delhi election.

NEW DELHI: Following the suspension of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Kirti Azad, the Janata Dal  (United) on Thursday said the Centre is working with a mindset of revenge against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Government as it lost the Delhi election.

“A game is going on between the Centre and the state government. The Centre is crossing its limit and working with a mindset of revenge. May be Kejriwal said it right that the BJP could not digest its defeat,” JD (U) leader Ali Anwar told ANI.

Echoing similar sentiments, another JD (U) leader K.C. Tyagi said, “We had said that there will be side-effects and dissatisfaction on the Bharatiya Janata Party after the Bihar election. This struggle will increase further.”

The BJP on Wednesday suspended its Darbhanga MP Kirti Azad.

The party issued a terse letter in the evening stating, "For anti-party activities, Shri Kirti Azad, MP, Darbhanga, is with immediate effect suspended from the party.”
