Nitish Dismayed Over Pace of Police Academy Construction

RAJGIR (BIHAR): Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today inspected construction of Bihar police academy and expressed disappointment over pace of the work on Rs 206 crore project here.

Kumar told officials of Engineering Project India Limited carrying out the construction work to give a timeframe for completion of the project.

He also gave instruction to bring improvement in the work, an official statement said.

State police academy is coming up at picturesque Rajgir in Nalanda district, CM's home place, at an estimated cost of Rs 206 crore.

Managing Director of Bihar State Police Building Construction Corporation A K Upadhyay said that the construction work of the police academy has already been delayed by 17 months.
