3 BSF Jawans Injured in Bomb Blast by Unidentified Militants in Manipur

IMPHAL: Three BSF jawans were injured in a bomb blast at Napet Palli area in Imphal East district of Manipur this morning, a senior police official said.      

The bomb, planted by unidentified militants, went off when the jawans were patrolling on foot on the roadside of Napet Palli area, the official said.   

The injured were taken to the Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences hospital.

No individual or group has claimed responsibility.
