NEW DELHI: The Union Cabinet is scheduled to hold its meeting on Tuesday evening. The meeting of cabinet committee on political affairs will also meet. Sources said it may discuss political situation in Bihar, Delhi and upcoming parliament session.
Meeting will be held at PM Narendra Modi's official residence, 7 RCR. The Delhi results have also come on a day when BJP chief, Amit Shah, is in Ahmedabad for marriage of his son.
Many of the top leaders were in Ahmedabad for the wedding. Its been left for the BJP's dozen odd spokespersons to articulate party' defence in front of cameras.
The central leadership who closely steered BJP's election campaign were missing from the party office as the results came in.
Commerce Minister Nirmala Sitharaman was in Manipur for an official assignment and likely to return later in the evening.
