NEW DELHI: All eyes are on the three BJP candidates who managed to withstand the AAP tsunami - Vijender Gupta, Jagdish Pradhan and Om Prakash Sharma. Interestingly, two of them are first-time MLAs and one had won in last Assembly polls.

In Vishwas Nagar, Om Prakash Sharma defeated AAP’s Atul Gupta by a respectable margin of over 10,000 votes.

In Mustafabad, BJP’s Jagdish Pradhan bagged 58,388 votes, defeating Congress Hasan Ahmed by a margin of 6,000 votes.
