Nitish Condemns RSS Chief's Comment on Mother Teresa

Nitish said Bhagwat's comment on Teresa reflects the perverted mind of someone having ‘prejudiced mindset’, sought action on people making such assertions.

PATNA: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today said RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat's comment on Mother Teresa reflects the perverted mind of someone having "prejudiced mindset" and sought action on people making such assertions.

"This reflects perverted mind of people making such statements," Kumar told reporters criticising the RSS chief over his comment on the noble laureate.

The whole world recognised her service to the mankind, but some person having "prejudiced mindset" are making such assertions on Mother Teresa, Kumar said.

Even today everybody swears by her selfless service and take proud in remembering her work for leprosy patients. He strongly condemned Mohan Bhagwat statement and sought action on people making such assertions.

"Mother Teresa's service would have been good. But it used to have one objective, to convert the person, who was being served, into a Christian," the RSS chief had reportedly said while speaking at a function organised by NGO Apna Ghar near Bharatpur in Rajasthan yesterday.
