CHANDIGARH: Haryana Finance Minister Capt Abhimanyu has sought suggestions from the public on hisFacebook page and Twitter for the 2015-16 budget.
Abhimanyu, who would be presenting the maiden budget of the newly-formed BJP government in Haryana, is seeking suggestions from the public with regards to the budget expectations.
The Minister who returned here two days ago after completing a management course from Harvard in the US, told reporters here today that he thought of using the IT medium to get feedback from the public.
Without divulging what one can expect in the upcoming budget, which will be presented once the Assembly session begins here next month, Abhimanyu, however, said equitable development will be ensured in the state, where "regional imbalance" had hit many areas that lagged behind.
Plugging revenue leakages and ensuring transparency will also be among the main focus, said the minister, who had recently taken a three-week break to pursue the management course.
