Army, Police Probe Nashik Incident

NEW DELHI: A day after a group of Army jawans from Deolali School of Artillery near Nashik vandalised a local police station, the Army on Thursday initiated an investigation into the incident. A release from the Southern Command in Pune stated that the Army and police were working closely in the case and the School of Artillery had extended all help to the investigation. “A Joint investigation by police and Army authorities is on and they have assured that exemplary action will be initiated against all involved in the incident after the probes are over,” it stated.
