NEW DELHI: The Bharatiya Janata Party on Thursday claimed that Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh’s criticism of the ‘Digital India’ initiative was due to his frustration.

“‘Digital India’ has a tagline – ‘power to empower’. Digvijay Singh is unnecessarily making comments due to his frustration. In the Congress’ tenure, policies began but never reached fruition. They were sacrificed due to the corruption within the party,” Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson Sambit Patra said.
