JAIPUR: Veteran actress Hema Malini has received injuries to her head, back and legs in the fatal car crash near Jaipur, which also left a girl child dead and four others injured.

“Hema ji has injuries above her eyes, in her back and legs. I drove her to hospital in my car. She was in pain. Hema ji herself stepped in the car after the accident. She also walked inside the hospital by herself,” said Dr. Shiv Sharma, who drove the BJP MP to the hospital.

Meanwhile, Dausa MLA Shankar Sharma said that another child injured in the crash has been referred to Jaipur for treatment.

“One girl child died in the accident and another child has been referred to Jaipur,” Sharma told ANI.

“Actually, the car accident took part in Lal Chowk bypass around Dausa. The family in the other car was injured and was from Lal Chowk. Hema Malini’s car was also seriously smashed. Thankfully, the doctor took them to the hospital,” he added.
