NASHIK: A three-year-old girl, Joya Muqaddar Khan, a resident of city's Wadala Naka locality, had a miraculous escape after a car ran over her two days ago, a physician told reporters here today.
She suffered internal bleeding as well as damage to her liver and kidney but no fractures, doctor Nitin Pardeshi said, adding that she is playing and eating normally.
Doctors Abhinandan Jadhav and Ashwin Parekh said that they observed internal injuries after scans, but decided to provide her conservative treatment instead of operating her, since she is normal.
Incidentally, Joya's accident has been recorded on a closed circuit television camera, whose footage was shown to reporters.
No police case has been registered so far.
