Sena says Talks Unfortunate

MUMBAI: Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray on Friday described as “unfortunate” the dialogue between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Pakistan counterpart Nawaz Sharif on the sidelines of the SCO Meet at Ufa in Russia. “What can I say about the meeting. What was happening earlier (during earlier governments) is happening again. People are saying nothing has changed. The same tradition followed earlier is being followed now. It is sad,” he told reporters. Referring to Thursday’s firing incident at theLoC which had claimed the life of a BSF jawan, Uddhav said that while shaking hands with Pak, Modi should first check whether or not the hands were stained with the blood of soldiers.  The Shiv Sena leader, however, said that PM Modi was a capable leader.
