Kids Quarrel Leads to Group Clash, 15 Injured

UTTAR PRADESH: As many as 15 persons were injured when two groups clashed over a minor dispute at Dulha village in the district, police said today.

Two children, Suraj and Shailendra, had a quarrel on Thursday which led to heated verbal exchanges between senior members of their families, belonging to two different castes, at the village under Nidholikalan Kotwali, police said.

This altercation took an ugly turn when the two groups turned to lathis and stone-pelting.

In the ensuing violence 15 persons got injured, police said, adding the injured were admitted to local hospital.

FIRs have been filed from both the sides.
