Government School Expels Student For Not Being Teacher's Domestic Help

The student has also blamed the teacher of beating him up at occasions when he refused to work as a domestic help.

A 10th class student of a government school in Rajasthan has been allegedly expelled from the school as he refused to be a domestic help to one of the teachers of the school.

Lalu Singh, a student of Bhimarlai Government Secondary School in Barmer, in an interview with Hindustan Times said, he was forced to work as a domestic help in the teacher's house since he was in 6th standard.

Lalu said that all his friends used to attend classes at the school while he was bounded to finish the household jobs at the teacher's house.

He also blamed the teacher of beating him up at occasions when he refused to work as a domestic help.

He was expelled from the school on July 13, as he refused to do the household jobs, followed by which the teacher managed to get him expelled with the help of school principal, he added.

However, the school authorities reportedly said, the boy was expelled due to his bad conduct.

The issue is under the investigation of district education department.
