NEW DELHI:The CBI on Friday registered its eighth preliminary enquiry (PE) into the mysterious deaths related to multi-crore Vyapam scam of Madhya Pradesh. The new PE is in connection with the death of Rahul Solanki, a suspected imposter who allegedly appeared for candidates for the test conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board. “We are likely to register more cases in the coming days,” said a senior CBI officer. Solanki was a third-year medical student of Gandhi Medical College and was found dead in mysterious circumstances in his room at the college in December 2012.
