Startup Jalsa Facilitates Rs 50-cr Biz

CHANDIGARH: The three-day ‘Startup Jalsa’ mega event, which drew to a close on Tuesday, proved a remarkable success, with about 40 start-ups holding talks with investors for a funding of over `50 crore.  Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Vivek Atray said, “We are glad this path breaking event happened in Panchkula. In the country, we are witnessing a rapidly evolving start-up ecosystem driven by young, dynamic and focused entrepreneurs. In the past three days, we have seen many youngsters coming up and pitching their ideas on diverse fields such as technology, mobile space, healthcare and education.”
