NEW DELHI: Dismissing reports to the contrary, the Railways has said it won’t do away with the chain pulling system in train coaches.

The Railways, however, added that it would try to make passengers aware to stop the misuse of the chain pulling system.

A few reports had earlier surfaced that said the Railways had planned to do away with the facility as it was prone to regular misuse and led to loss of revenues.

Reports add that while Railways is concerned about the growing instances of the misuse of the system, it would not be replaced from the coaches.
