PATNA:The Patna-bound Palamu Express on Tuesday derailed between Chhipadohar and Barwadih railway stations in Jharkhand’s Latehar district, after the Maoists triggered a powerful bomb explosion. However, there was no casualty or injury to any passenger.

The engine and three coaches of the train going from Barkakana to Patna jumped the rails following the blast, Chhipadohar railway station master R P Bhagotia said.

According to him, the blast occurred around 8.40 pm near Kuchila village between Chhipadohar and Barwadih stations.
