NEW DELHI: Former home secretary R K Singh on Tuesday said that it was the responsibility of the then-prime minister Dr. Manmohan Singh to keep a tab on the happenings in the Coal Ministry with regards to the coalgate scam.
“The complete responsibility of whatever happened was that of Manmohan Singh. In fact, as the prime minister, also it was his responsibility to keep a check on the thefts happening around him. So, Manmohan Singh cannot move away from his responsibility in this,” Singh told ANI.
