NEW DELhi: A US delegation led by Ed Royce, Chairman of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, today met Home Minister Rajnath Singh here.

During the 20-minute meeting, Singh and the US delegation discussed various issues concerning the two countries that include homeland security, official sources said.

Royce is leading a bipartisan congressional delegation visiting India starting last weekend. Royce, former co-chair of the Congressional Caucus on India and Indian Americans, helped build the caucus to become one of the largest in the House.

He had met Prime Minister Narendra Modi when the latter visited the US in September. Royce was a key figure in the passage of the US-India Civil Nuclear Agreement of 2006, managing the bill on the House Floor.
