Giant Wave Sweeps Jeep 3,500 ft into Sea During Ad Shoot

A jeep was swept by a giant wave and left it about 3500 feet away from the shore, police said.

KANYAKUMARI: A jeep was swept by a giant wave and left it about 3500 feet away from the shore, police said.

Police said a three youth of private company, selling four wheelers including jeep, were taking films of the jeep for an advertisement programme. The company had also asked the youth to take stunt pictures as well as video shots at sun-set point here.

The youth had parked the jeep on the wet sea shore and did not notice the giant waves gushing towards the shore suddenly.

The waves swept the jeep into the sea in seconds. Realising the danger, they rushed towards the shore. Efforts were on to retrieve the jeep with the help of crane, police said.
