Newly-wed Woman Found Dead, Poisoning By In-laws Suspected

BIJNOR (UP): A 21-year-old newly-wed woman was found dead, allegedly due to poisoning, at her in-laws house at Bohra village here, police said today.   

Pinki, who got married a few months back, was allegedly poisoned to death by her in-laws for dowry yesterday in Chandpur area, Inspector-in-charge of Chandpur Police station, R R Katheria said.        

Following a complaint lodged by the victim's parents, an FIR was lodged against her husband Yash Raj, mother-in-law Saroj, father-in-law Munne, and sister-in-law Yashoda, he said.    

The body of the victim has been sent for post-mortem and investigation was underway, Katheria added.
