KHUNTI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that the whole world is concerned about environment and he pledged to save the nature.

“The whole world is concerned about environment. Our culture never permits the exploitation of nature and natural resources. We have not committed the crime of destroying the nature but we will contribute to save it,” PM Modi said at the inauguration of solar power plant here.

“Jharkhand’s solar energy plant is an example to the world. If Gujarat and Rajasthan think of solar energy, people will say it is understandable, they have no coal. But when Jharkhand does so, it is noticed,” he added.

The Prime Minister also said, “Kochi airport is the first solar power airport in the world, the new corridor on the Faridabad metro line is also solar powered.”
