300 BSP Members Join Congress in Rajasthan

JAIPUR: Three hundred members of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), including its 14 district presidents and 18 senior leaders, today joined the Rajasthan Congress Committee (PCC) at a small ceremony here.            

BSP spokesman Surendra Lamba, 14 district presidents and 18 other senior leaders were among 300 members who joined Congress in presence of AICC General Secretary Gurudas Kamat and PCC President Sachin Pilot, a party spokesperson said.     

New entrants who filed primary membership forms have been welcomed and assured of equal party treatment at all levels in functioning, she said.

Earlier in July-August this year, over 600 BSP members merged and took up the primary membership of the Congress.
