PM Expresses Grief Over Loss of Lives in Jhabua Explosion

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today expressed pain over the loss of lives in the explosion in Jhabua in Madhya Pradesh.

"Extremely pained at the loss of lives due to the cylinder blast in Jhabua. My deepest condolences to the families of the deceased," he tweeted. "Wish all those injured a speedy recovery. MP Government is monitoring the situation closely," he said.

At least 25 people were killed and 35 others injured when explosives kept inside a building went off at Petlwad town in Jhabua district.
