FTII Row: Jadavpur University Students Observe Token Hunger Strike

KOLKATA: A group of Jadavpur University students today sat on a hunger strike for few hours to express solidarity with fasting students of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII).

The group of about 7-8 students started the hunger strike in the morning and ended in the evening.

FTII students were on a hunger strike since Thursday against the appointment of actor and BJP member Gajendra Chauhan as the institution's chairman
