JALANDHAR: Accusing sister of Sarabjit Singh, who was hanged in a Pakistan jail, Dalbir Kaur of forgery, a BJP leader today said she has got her daughter appointed as Telsildar instead of her brother's and demanded CBI probe.

State in-charge of BJP's Backward Cell, MP Singh Goraya claimed that neither Dalbir was Sarabjit's sister nor Swapandip his daughter.

He said when Punjab government announced to give a job to Sarabajit's daughter Poonam Atwal, Dalbir allegedly got her daughter Swapandip appointed as tehsildar.

She also took the compensation amounting to crores of rupees, which was given to Sarabjit's family, Goraya said.

The BJP leader claimed that he has verified certificates of Swapandip Kuar from Class VIII to graduation. The testimonials borne the name of Dalbir and Baldev Singh as her parents.

Thus, Swapandip should be removed from her post and a CBI probe should be ordered into the matter, he said, adding that he will move Punjab and Haryana High Court if his demands were not met.
