Cop Abuses Elderly Man, Breaks His Typewriter; Suspended Later on CM's Instruction

Krishna Kumar has been working outside the General post office in Lucknow for the past 35 years by typing in Hindi on his typewriter, his only source of income which helps him earn hardly Rs. 50 per day.

Yet the 65-year-old typist have been working happily unaware of the circumstances he could face.

While he was working as usual, a sub-inspector on Saturday morning reportedly asked him to vacate the place to clear encroachment from the area.

Before the old man could realize anything, he saw his dreams shattered on the street. Abusing the elderly man, the sub-inspector kicked his typerwriter breaking it into pieces.

The man can be seen begging in front of the cop in the photos captured by the local reporters of the area.

The chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav ordered to suspend the cop after the photos of the incident went viral on social media.

On the same day, the man was given a new typewriter by the DSP and SSP who visited him on the instructions of the CM.
