NEW DELHI: Talking about the Bharatiya Janata Party's list for the upcoming Bihar polls, party leader Sudesh Verma on Wednesday said that the political party has never been doubtful about its leaders and naturally these leaders will play a prominent role as star campaigners.

“People like Lal Krishna Advani ji, Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi ji, Shatrughan Sinha ji, they are very important leaders of the BJP and the party knows it. So, anytime there is an important election, like Bihar election, naturally they are going to play a prominent role as star campaigners,” Verma told ANI.

“BJP was never in doubt about their role because they are our leaders,” he added.

The BJP had on September 15 announced a list of 43 candidates after the first meeting of the Central Election Committee (CEC).

Elections for the 243-member Bihar Assembly will be held in five phases between October 12 and November 5. Counting of votes will take place on November 8.
