NEW DELHI:Former Delhi Law Minister Somnath Bharti was on Tuesday sent to police custody for two days by a city court in a domestic violence and attempt-to-murder case filed by his wife Lipika Mitra. He was arrested at 4 am, hours after surrendering to police. Meanwhile, a party colleague of Bharti’s from Agra has been booked for allegedly harbouring the latter when evaded arrest. Baney Singh allegedly took Bharti to his relative’s house at Sakatpur village in Uttar Pradesh.
