Six Arrested for Stripping, Thrashing Dalit Teens in Chittorgarh

Chittorgarh (Rajasthan): Six people have been arrested for thrashing and stripping three Dalit teenagers in the Bassi Tehsil of Chittorgarh in Rajasthan after the boys were accused of stealing a motorcycle of an upper caste man.

A case has been registered against those arrested under the SC/ST Act and also against unknown people involved in the attack.

In a shocking video that went viral, the three boys were seen tied to a tree, brutally thrashed and then paraded around naked for almost 30 minutes as they cried out for help and mercy, but to no avail.

They were released later with the help of the police, which was summoned by witnesses.

However, incredibly a case was registered against the boys for stealing a bike and those who attacked them were not charged.
