ERODE: DMK Rajya Sabha MP, Kanimozhi today flayed the AIADMK government, alleging that there was no industrial and economic development in the last five years.

Hitting out at chief minister Jayalalithaa, she claimed that the chief minister was not meeting people, officials and union ministers and was going to places in helicopter.

Addressing an election meeting here, she said total prohibition would be introduced if DMK was elected to power.

The DMK chief M Karunanidhi had consulted several economic experts before releasing the manifesto for the May 16 assembly polls, she said.

If the DMK was elected to power, Kalaignar (Karunanidhi) would implement the promises, she added.

She addressed meetings at Erode, Ezhumathur, Vellode, Perundurai and Gobichettipalayam, canvassing votes for DMK and its allies.
