AAP wins Delhi market association election

NEW DELHI: The Aam Aadmi Party on Tuesday won a landslide victory in the recently held market association elections in the national capital, and called it a mandate against the demonetization scheme of the central government

“This is just a trailer of what is to come in the MCD elections next year, the way Congress and BJP were defeated in these elections the similar is going to be repeated in the civic body elections “ said Dilip Pandey, the convener Delhi unit of AAP.

Of the 17 number of total seats at the Agriculture Produce Market Committee (APMC) the party won 14 seats. Labor Minister Gopal Rai termed the results against the central government's demonetization policy.
