Remarks Completely Misunderstood: Sinha

A day after there was a lot of consternation about reports on his remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP leader Yashwant Sinha said that his comments were “completely misunderstood”. At a panel discussion in Goa on Saturday, Sinha reportedly said, without naming Modi, “The people of India will consign him to the dust, you just have to wait for the next elections”. This was categorically denied by Sinha here on Sunday. “It is complete misinterpretation. Anyone who has reported this, has completely misunderstood what I have said,” he told reporters. Earlier on Sunday morning, his son and MoS for Finance Jayant Sinha said that the report was completely false.

After CM Badal, His  Brother Hospitalised     

A couple of days after Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal hospitalised folowing chest infection, his younger brother Gurdas Badal (in pic) has been admitted to a hospital here. Gurdas Badal was shifted to Fortis Hospital here on Saturday night after he reported of blood in his cough. He was first admitted in a hospital in Bathinda. Gurdas’ son Manpreet Singh Badal, who had recently merged his People’s Party of Punjab with the Congress recently, said, “My father is stable and well on his way to recovery.” Meanwhile, a team of doctors attending on the Chief Minister said that he was absolutely fine.
