LUDHIANA: Two unidentified motor cycle borne men allegedly fired at Shiv Sena leader Amit Arora in Ludhiana at Basti Jodhewal late last night.
Arora, who sustained injuries in the neck, was rushed to the CMC hospital, while his gunmen escaped unhurt.
Arora had arrived at Basti Jodhewal Chowk from the Jalandhar bypass in his car when the incident took place. He was apparently waiting for someone when the two motorcycle-borne men fired at him and fled away.
The police reached the spot and registered an FIR.
Meanwhile, the police are investigating the matter and have assured to arrest the culprits as soon as possible.
