Cops Beat Up Photographers Covering Dutt's Visit to Temple

The incident took place in afternoon when Dutt reached here and was visiting the famous shrine.

MUMBAI: Police allegedly beat up press photographers while they were covering actor Sanjay Dutt's visit to Siddhivinayak temple at Dadar in Central Mumbai today after his release from prison in Pune.            

The incident took place in afternoon when Dutt reached here and was visiting the famous shrine.     

The police personnel on duty, including some officials, allegedly shoved the mediapersons and assaulted some photographers from the print media apparently during the jostling to click the actor.   

A senior police officer said an inquiry has been ordered into the incident. "Have told DCP zone V to inquire into the matter," the officer said.
