NEW DELHI: Home Minister Rajnath Singh today dismissed charge that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited states with "trunkful of currency notes".

"I strongly condemn the charge that Prime Minister visits states with trunkful of currency notes", Singh said in the Lok Sabha demanding that the charge be expunged from the records.

Singh's brief statement came when Trinamool Congress member Sultan Ahmed made some charges while participating in the debate on Motion of thanks to the President for his address.

Minister of state for Parliamentary Affairs Rajiv Pratap Rudy too attacked Ahmed. "The whole country is watching the way the member is speaking in a hateful language against the Prime Minister," he said.
