LUCKNOW: Five persons were killed on Wednesday when a truck loaded with sand overturned on a slum here, police said.
The incident took place at the new Haiderganj locality of the old city at about five in the morning.
A speeding truck apparently lost control and overturned on the huts on the roadside.
Three victims were identified as Razia Bano (25), Hina (14) and Ikrar (9) who were from the same family.
Two others are yet to be identified.
