Akhilesh briefs UP Guv Ram Naik about Kairana, Mathura clash

Akhilesh briefed Naik on recent incidents of clashes in Mathura, protests by the families of the Dadri lynching case accused, Kairana migration.

LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today briefed Governor Ram Naik on the recent incidents of clashes in Mathura, protests by the families of the Dadri lynching case accused and alleged migration of Hindus from Kairana.

The governor was apprised of the action taken by the state government by Yadav during a nearly hour-long meeting, a Raj Bhawan release issued here said.

The chief minister gave information about the steps taken by the government in connection with these as well as some other incidents of loot and dacoity which had taken place recently in the state capital, the release said.

It is learnt that Yadav submitted a written report on Kairana to the governor.
